Scotts Valley Children’s Center is an early childhood education center utilizing the teaching principles developed by Dr. Maria Montessori to help children 6 months to 6 years old develop to their fullest potential. We are seeking an infant teacher’s assistant. The successful candidate will be at least 18 years old, have a true love and respect for young children and be patient, warm and observant. This is an entry level position with an organization that offers career development for those employees that show dedication to the field of childcare. The job duties include care of infants as well as light housekeeping duties in order to maintain clean and safe indoor and outdoor environments for the children.
The candidate will need to have a clear criminal history and be ready to pay for fingerprint clearance processing and a pre-employment physical and will be required to complete CPR and first aid training within 6 months.
This position is available immediately. This is a part time position. The hours are 7:30am to 12:30pm Monday through Friday. There is a possibility of extended hours and additional benefits in the future. Please send your resume via email.
