Looking for an Energetic Montessori Teacher

To begin with, hours would be from 8:45am-12:00pm, Monday to Friday, with the possibility of changing to a full-time position.  You will be working with children ages 2.5 through 5. 

 QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants are required to have Montessori training/certification.  Candidates must have prior teaching experience (of at least one year) working in a Montessori Preschool.  We are looking for an effective team member, who is active, flexible, reliable, patient, and loves working with young children.  Applicants must feel comfortable leading presentations with children, as well as discussing issues with parents.  MUST be willing to work during the Summer Session when needed.

 RESPONSIBILITIES: Presenting lesson plans, leading group time, carrying out activities for the class, managing a large classroom, and supervising children at all times. Assist in meeting the basic needs of the children (e.g., bathroom, personal care, food, etc.) and in cleaning up the room.  Should be able to talk to parents about issues (academic, social, etc.).  NOTE: Teachers will be required to get up and move around the classroom constantly-this is not an environment where our teachers stand or sit in one place during class time.
