21 Hours - 1.5 semester unit

Philosophy and rationale of the curriculum area of the physical and life sciences is introduced. Physical and life sciences include botany with the study of the parts of the plant and their basic function. Zoology, also, is introduced with the study of the parts of the fish, amphibian, reptile, bird and mammal. Practical life aspects in the care of plants and animals is explored.
